Rob's Personal
Testimony
By God's grace I was able to
grow up in a Christian home. From the earliest age I can remember, my family
and I were at church any time that the doors were open. I am very grateful that
at the age of 4, God made clear to me that I was a sinner bound for hell, and
that through the gift of His Son's death on the cross, I could be saved. I am
also grateful that since that time I have not been plagued with the doubts that
can often be troublesome to those who accept Christ at a young age.
Since that time the Lord has
allowed me to attend a Christian school and then to go on and receive my degree
in computer programming and electronics from a Christian university. Since
graduation, I have spent time working in corporate network management, data
center and ISP services, and now I work as a programmer/technical lead for a
high-end consulting firm specializing in Microsoft Internet technologies. I am
always amazed how God allows my secular work to provide me with the training
and expertise that allows me to serve Him with both the Kids 4 Truth and World
Trade Hope web sites.
Julie's Personal
Testimony
I praise the Lord for my parents
and that I was able to grow up in a Christian home. When I was in preschool, my
mom sat down with me and showed me from the Bible how I could be sure I was on
my way to heaven. That night I prayed with her. However, when I was twelve, I
began to doubt whether I had really understood all that she had shared with me.
That summer, at a Christian camp, God showed me that I still needed Him as my
Savior and I was saved.
From that point on, living for
God was one of my goals, though I admit, I donąt always focus on it as I
should. When I was in Jr. High, my youth pastor took some of my youth group to
a revival meeting with Evangelist Tom Farrell. That night, his emphasis was on
full-time Christian service. During the service, God was working in my life and
I surrendered to serve the Lord however he wanted me to, whether in full-time
Christian service or not.
After graduating from a public
high school I was able to attend a Christian university and there met my
husband Rob. After we were married, we were able to minister together in
full-time Christian work for a little over a year. What a blessing to serve
right along with Rob! Now we both have secular jobs, but the Lord has blessed
us tremendously and allowed us to do so much for him through Kids4Truth and now
the World Trade Hope project. It is a blessing to be able to use our talents
and skills in the technology field for Christ!
